As amazing as Covenent College was, I think that so far this is my favorite book! Absolutely awesome!!!!I was scared at first thinking that Zoe and Paris' friendship was doomed. Like really scared. Thank the Lord that worked out! Then I was as all, "WOOHOO!" Zoe is full on scary powerful chick! I mean she was before but it was all her and her bad a$$edness in this book! Freaking awesome!!!!! Oh, then it was all "bestill my heart" sweetness and a FINALLY!
This book had more cool action and magic than the others and I think that's why it's my favorite one yet.

I liked the humor and the snarkiness of the author. Also liked the story just wish I would have realized there was a seris before I read that one.
Reading Zoe and Aric's story has been a thrill from the start. I have so enjoyed their adventures. On to the next book!
This is the best book she has written yet. The humor, the suspense, the story itself exceed anything in this or her other series. I loved it and can't wait for the next one coming out in July.
I enjoyed the covenant college series very much. I overlooked the constant syrupy declarations of love and sexual promises as being somewhat typical of a book having college age kids as characters. Although the plot in this book is intriguing I Found myself skipping quickly through much of the dialogue between Zoe and Aric. How many times can you say I love you and describe Aric’s body? Very distracting from the story line. Zoe and Aric did not mature much after college! Not sure if I can overlook the dialogue to continue the series. Although I do want to know what happens!
I knew I would love this book as I love Amanda M. Lee's witty, sarcastic writing style. What I am surprised about was the growth of the characters from Covenant College & the changes that had occurred. That was a very pleasant surprise! I loved how this story unfolded and how Zoe & Aric relationship in a lot of ways was the same but yet had matured along with both of them. Zoe's career choice had me lol. And I don't want to give anything away but the ending was very romantic and dream worthy!!!
I can always depend on reading a new release from Ms. Lee in one sitting. I make sure that I'm comfy and have everything I'll need for the next few hours nearby.
I love the twists and turns in the story, you seriously have no idea what's coming next! Zoe & Aric's relationship is so funny, passionate, and enduring. Their enemies are a bit too easily done away with. I hope we see/hear more of Cernunnos' story very soon. And could we get Paris her HEA so that she isn't envious of their vocal foreplay.
I read everything from Amanda M. Lee and highly recommend reading all her series; you don't have to start at the beginning, but they are all so good, I would, so you can be totally caught up on the characters and what made them as they are today. This new series picks up where the beloved characters from the Covenant College series are now, 5 year down the road. As usual, Lee's book is well written and fast-paced. The sexual content is implied and sassy but not embarrassing to read for your teen children. The violence is there but not in-your-face graphic. I love Amanda M. Lee and would recommend any series of hers.
